After suffering many years of back discomfort and broken nights sleep, I decided that I would consider buying an orthopedic mattress to assist me in gaining a comfortable and peaceful nights sleep.

I found the Internet, and particularly Amazon to be a really great source for all manner of orthopedic mattresses, pillows, bed wedges, and other back and neck support related items. They carry a great range of mattress toppers too, many made from natural latex materials which really mold to the shape of your body when you lie on them.

If you are like me, and have been a sufferer of back pain throughout your life, you'll be only too aware how difficult it is to get comfortable at night when using an over firm or cheap mattress. I often wake up with some form of backache surely due to the substandard mattress I sleep on.

I eventually bought an orthopedic mattress to fit my king size bed, and was amazed that within a short couple of days the back discomfort was abating and my sleep was becoming less and less broken. It's quite amazing when you begin to develop pain-free sleep patterns, you realise just how bad it was before. When discomfort is part of your life it becomes almost the norm, but when he goes, the feeling of relief is astonishing.

It's been about three months since I fitted the orthopedic mattress to my bed and I wake up now refreshed almost every morning. The constant nagging discomfort in my lower lumbar region is reduced to almost a distant memory.
